The high-performance integrated amplifier described meets the requirements of modern TV sets and can also be used as a teletext display or home-computer monitor. Bandwidth is 10 MHz for a 50-Vpp sine wave, and rise and fall times are 50 ns for a 100-Vpp square wave. The circuit operates with a 200-V power supply and is realized in a 250 VDMOS/bipolar process. An essential feature is internal protection against CRT arc discharges. The amplifier design was used in a one-chip three-amplifier circuit for RGB high-voltage video output.
