摘要：
A laboratory study was made of the possibility of removing nitrogen and sulfur oxides from acidic gas mixtures with the aid of ammonium sulfite and bisulfite solutions which are waste materials from sulfuric acid production. In particular, a study was made of the effect of the temperature and pH of the ammonium sulfite and bisulfite absorption solution on the degree of purification of the gas mixture.
