A study of the temperature dependence of the lattice parameter of the gamma -phase in the system iron-manganese has shown that the Neel point of the transformation of the paramagnetic to the antiferromagnetic state with an isotropic spin structure in alloys containing more than 13% Mn is a phase transition of the II kind. At a temperature of approximately minus 100 degree C (T//X), a magnetic phase transition of the I kind and AF//1 yields AF//2 type occurs in these alloys.
