Western Canadian is listed on the TSX Venture exchange (Code:WTN). Its prime asset is a portfolio of coal properties containing resources of over 250 mt mainly of hard and semi-hard coking coal with some thermal coal in the north-east of the Canadian province of British Columbia. WTN has built up the portfolio cheaply. The strategic location of WTN's Canadian deposits and the accessibility of deposits amenable to open cut mining could reduce development costs to well below the industry average.
