摘要：
Work being done to raise tool production to a new technical level through computerization and use of NC machines, new materials (including hard alloys), and development of computer-aided systems for accelerated design and manufacture of tools and fixtures, is reviewed. The article centers on work in this field at the 50th Anniversary of the USSR Kiev relays and automatic controls factory.
