摘要
Accelerated weathering tests with plain carbon steel and low-alloy steels show that the influence of weathering is of considerable importance for the atmospheric corrosion. Attention has to be paid that the steel surfaces are never wet over a longer period of time. Frequent short wet periods, followed by dry phases lead to the formation of an increasingly better protective layer.
