Power transmission design interviewed a number of readers, searching for the trade-offs they expect to make in the coming decade. While the products they design differ greatly, many of their trade-offs are the same. They include often the choice between the practical and the ideal, between need and availability, between solving current crises and taking action to avoid them in the future, between regulations and efficiency, etc.
