The demodulation of FM signals by means of an acousto-optic modulator is shown to be possible. Demodulation methods by means of one-channel and multichannel acousto-optic modulators are considered. It is shown that the use of a multichannel modulator with different light apertures makes it possible to increase considerably the FM signal demodulation accuracy compared with cases in which a one-channel acousto-optic modulator is used.
