A SURVEY OF THE MORPHOLOGY OF THE DIFFUSION-INDUCED GRAIN BOUNDARY MIGRATION (DIGM) WAS MADE BASED MAINLY UPON THE PREVIOUS WORK ON THE FE-ZN AND CU-ZN SYSTEMS. THREE BASIC TYPES OF DIGM WERE DEFINED AND THE ORDINARY GRAIN BOUNDARY MIGRATION WAS STUDIED IN MORE DETAILS. SOME THEORETICAL PROBLEMS WERE THIS RAISED WHICH NEED FURTHER STUDY IN ORDER TO BE SOLVED.
