The relations given for the saturation line and the equation of state of liquid metals can be used to find the characteristic parameters which give an unambiguous description of the thermal properties of the metals. The parameters include critical temperature, density and pressure; low-temperature limit of Grueneisen parameter and exponents of Mee potential. The results can be used to design methods of calculating the properties of liquid metals in a wide range of states.
