摘要
Properties of perlitic-ferrite malleable iron with increased sulfur content (introduced in two stages) are studied. Within sulfur content of 0.20-0.23% pig iron is transformed into a perlitic class and completely corresponds to the KCh45-5 grade and to the KCh50-5P grade by 95%. At the second stage, when using the most high-sulfur coke, a sulfur content of 0.28-0.33% in achieved. Castings made of pig iron enriched with sulfur possess the improved strength and good tribotechnical properties.
