Certain problems on water treatment from radioactive elements when using conventional methods of water treatment (sorption, coagulation, precipitation, oxidation) both independently and in complex have been considered on the basis of analysis of data from literature and authors investigations. It has permitted making some comparisons and generalizations to work put certain principles and approach to the solution of problems on water treatment from radioactive pollutants with a wide range of radionuclides. The examples of water treatment are presented.
