The inverse problem in optical diffusion tomography was discussed. Inversion formulas based on the Fourier-Laplace transform were used to establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions to this problem in planar, cylindrical and spherical geometries. The sources were assumed to be stationary with a harmonically modulated intensity.
