摘要
Aluminum is rather difficult to solder because it is covered with a tenacious oxide film that is resistant to mahy acid fluxes. Special fluxes and solders must be used on aluminum. When the correct flux and solder are employed, the steps in the joining process are the same as for an easy material like copper. The surfaces are cleaned and coated with flux, then the parts are properly spaced and held while the solder is positioned. A survey of various compositions for different aluminum alloys is presented.
