摘要
Proximity detectors are discussed that use eddy current losses in the target material to load a resonant circuit. The devices detect a change in the amplitude of oscillation, the exact frequency of which must be ignored because with different targets, the frequency shifts. It is shown how ″linearizing″ the circuitry improves response time.
