A method is described for measuring the quality factor of an acoustic resonator in the megahertz range that operates by reflection. A circuit of the apparatus is given with a description of the measuring method and the treatment of the results. The method permits the quality factor of a resonator to be measured with an error that is less than equivalent to 1%.
