摘要
The objective of this article is to provide the most up-to-date information on injection molding of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), a thermoplastic widely used in electronic devices, automobiles, household electrical appliances, and pumps for industrial and chemical liquids. The wide usage of gas is attributed to its excellent processability, dimensional stability and other advantages permitting high-precision injection molding. The conditions of injection molding of PPS are discussed together with the characteristics of the molds used.
