By combining the production steps of reciprocating rolling, drawing, joining and coiling, it is possible to produce copper tube continuously. The resultant improvement in performance is appreciable. Tubes can be finish-drawn on existing conventional machines. Scope for higher performance can be exploited here, too, by process modifications (several V capstans).
