摘要
Correct definition of the limits for voltage and current harmonic distortion in distribution systems supplying static power converters is a worldwide problem. In the paper the possible working conditions of these apparatus in compliance with standards and recommendations of different countries are examined, by verifying, in the absence of reactive power compensation, the compatibility between the converter and the supply. Furthermore, the effectiveness of converter-protection reactance for voltage distortion reduction is pointed out and project criteria are developed to dimension this reactance in compliance with standard limits for harmonic distortion.
