GRFP polyester resins are resistant to fuel oil, water, salts, weak acids and soil. Moreover, their mechanical strength is so high that they are suitable for big above ground and underground storage containers and for transport containers. On the strength of satisfactory results of testing carried out by the West German materials testing institute GRFP oil fuel tanks are being approved for above- and underground applications.
