The multiparametric method is extended to the case of unsteady filtration of an exponential liquid. By introducing generalized similarity variables, a ″universal″ equation as well as an integral relation is obtained, with the aid of which the dependence of the parameters on time is found in particular problems. The integral relation permits highly accurate approximation by means of a linear dependence. The method gives fairly accurate results in calculating formation pressure distribution during the initial phase of filtration.
