摘要
Using two-wave theory the start oscillation currents of backward-wave oscillations (BWO) with three kinds of typical practical non-homogeneous output circuits are analyzed and some corresponding conclusions are made. The results are applicable not only in weakly tapered circuits but also in those strongly tapered circuits. Furthermore some important principles for the design of high-power traveling-wave tubes are given.
