Ceramic Fibres Ltd has developed a number of ways of securing ceramic fiber insulation depending on which physical form is used. The Uniboard system of refractory lining, known originally as the board and blanket system, uses a high temperature vacuum-formed board over a 'wallpaper' ceramic fiber blanket to achieve a light-weight, high efficiency and stable layer of high temperature board on the hot surface. This is held in place by a neat system of ceramic anchors.
