摘要
A general derivation of the Boltzmann-Fokker-Planck equation is developed in the framework of the kinetic gas theory. Both Eulerian and Lagrangian formalism are displayed. A broad survey of possible applications, shows how this philosophy can be used in numerical calculations, leading to another insight into the essence of the method.
