We study the possibility of using the approach formulated in preceding works of the author to study the wear kinetics of materials under conditions of sliding friction without lubrication and with other lubrication modes (boundary and abrasive). On the basis of experimental and analytic wear studies we show the possibility of using the proposed technique to predict the wear characteristics and service life of rubbing junctions for the various sliding friction modes.
