摘要：

Due to fire insurance requirements, state and federal regulations concerning workmen's safety and health, it is no longer permissible to paint large objects on the open shop floor. The problem now is what type of booth design to consider, how the exhaust air will be exited from the building, where to introduce make-up air, how to move the product into the painting area and how to keep the cost of the overall project at a reasonable level. This paper deals with design concepts and installation requirements for large paint spray booths and methods of transporting large bulky products through the painting area.
