Generalized application rate curves are presented for common types of end sprinklers. Criteria for evaluating end sprinkler selections are defined to measure the efficiency with which land, water, and energy resources are utilized. Procedures are presented for relating end sprinkler variable, machine variables, and end sprinkler performance. Performance evaluations of sample end sprinkler selections are made for a center pivot machine.
