Methods of dialysis, coagulation, and electrophoresis are used to study association processes in solutions of a new coagulant - aluminum dihydroxysulfate - used in water treatment. It is shown that polycations forming in the coagulant solution intensify flocculation processes. The optimal concentrations under industrial conditions are 2-3% coagulant, with solution pH 3. 7-3. 8.
