摘要：

In this paper, the authors gave the following results. They scanned the surface of GCr15 by using transverse flowing CO2 laser (multiple modal) with KW level, and so attained the object of phase-change hardening of the surface of metal. Secondly, they studied the effect of principal parameters, such as laser power, scanning rate, etc., on the hardening of surface and the depth of hardening.
