摘要：
The author of this paper used colour metallographic method to study the eutectic carbide and microcracks in Cr12 steel. The results are quite unexpected: the eutectic carbide (CrFe)//7 C//3 is not a single phase but a mixed one. It consists of (CrFe)//7 C//3, (FeCr)//3 C and a little r-phase. Microcracks are also found in eutectic carbide (CrFe)//7 C//3 .
