The plan of Dow Polyurethanes to increase its production capacity for Voranol Voractiv polyols is discussed. The company has decided to increase its production from 80 million pounds per year to 580 million pounds per year, in response to rapidly growing customer demand. The applications of polyols include cushioning for furniture and bedding, carpet backing, automotive seating and instrument panels, flooring and roofing.
