A microprocessor-based inductive measuring device is described which is designed to measure the geometric parameters of inspected parts and for subsequent statistical processing of the collected data and can be used for statistical control of the measuring process by the arithmetical-mean or tabular method. The monitored parameter is measured with an inductive transducer in a sample of 1 to 10 parts. A microprocessor is used to process the measured data after analog to digital conversion. The measurement error is ±1 μm and the program operation time is .8 sec.
