摘要
The high solids coatings developed for the paper converting industry is ″Zoron″ , a water-white liquid of 1000 centipoise or less viscosity with a flash point above 200 degree F and supplied at 100% solids. At the point of use an acid-type catalyst is added. The reducing solvents which can be used include alcohols, acetone, ethyl acetate, or water. Dilution is necessary to reduce the viscosity so that the coating can be applied by direct gravure techniques. Because aromatic solvents are not required, flexographic application techniques can be used also. Cure takes place in high temperature ovens.
