Generalized mathematical models for thermal processes in composite superconductors are compared; they arise in the dimensionless analysis of working regimes of current-carrying elements of superconducting magnetic systems. Cases are noted in which the dimensionless complexes obtained are linearly dependent. A basis is given for choosing the characteristic thermal length that takes into account the peculiarities of thermal processes in superconducting composites.
