Australian acoustical society membership survey

A survey conducted to meet the needs of the members of Australian Acoustical Society is reported. The Council of the Society is concerned about the stagnancy in membership and has found that many acousticians have never joined the Society. The results of the survey signifies a low response regarding the usefulness of the Society website and an attempt is made to determine why the website is not found useful. The membership survey questionnaire is found to achieve a reasonable response from products such as journals and the annual conferences.
