摘要：
The application, arrangement, and operation of buffering and storage furnaces in iron foundries is discussed and the recent developments in this field are reviewed. The economical solution to buffering and storage problems is given detailed attention. The effect of buffering and storage costs on the entire foundry costs is illustrated.
