摘要
The article gives important factors for the maintenance of stator windings of hv rotating electrical machines. Their neglect might cause increased degradation. Attention is turned to the connection between the lengths of overhaul intervals and the readiness of the products for operation and to some methods of nondestructive diagnostics for monitoring to the machine state and to the detection of eventual degradation mechanism caused by intensive slot discharges with the aim to determine the necessary maintenance activities. Stress is laid mainly that the period to first overhaul recommended by the producer is not exceeded. It is also pointed to eventual possibilities to increase the periods between the overhauls in dependence on the results of diagnostic investigations.
