REFERS TO MACHINE-TOOLS AND MECHANISMS IN WHICH MOTOR ENERGY IS TRANSMITTED BY CHAIN, ROPE OR SCREW, AND CONSIDERS HOW TO AVOID AN ADVERSE EFFECT ON TRANSIENT BEHAVIOR AND POSSIBLE STABILITY. REGULATOR ADJUSTABILITY CONDITIONS ARE DETERMINED FOR TWO-MASS SYSTEMS. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MADE ON SELECTION OF PARAMETERS AND EFFECTIVE APPROXIMATION FOR MAXIMUM RESPONSE OF DRIVES WITH THYRISTOR CONVERTERS AND SUBORDINATE CIRCUITS. CONFIRMATION IS PROVIDED BY COMPUTER MODELLING.
