摘要
Analysis of single-phase induction motor is more difficult than that of three-phase induction motor. Since it is very easy to measure the characteristics of single-phase induction motor which is designated simply as induction motor in this paper, the characteristics are rarely calculated using motor constants. The characteristics are often expressed as a function of slip but it is cumbersome to represent the slip curves. This paper proposes a new method to represent the induction motor characteristics by voltage map using power factor angle of power source. Three curves drawn on the voltage map, namely voltage, current and slip curves, represent all of the motor characteristics.
