摘要：

Direct mounting method of chip carriers on Printed Wiring Board (PWB) has been positively evaluated. As the results of this evaluation, chip carriers up to 200 pins are applicable in high reliability systems provided suitable arrangement of mechanical reinforcement pads on corners, a dryfilm resist layer, and adequate shape of Chip Carriers (CC)-leads and PWB pads are prepared.
