A procedure for processing the data obtained from well testing by the level plotting method is proposed which makes it possible to determine the filtration characteristics of low-permeability collectors and has greater resolving power and accuracy than existing procedures. The proposed procedure includes two methods: an analytical one and the method of optimal coincidence. The analytical method requires few calculations and may therefore be used for routine treatment of data obtained under field conditions. The method of optimal coincidence in combination with the analytical one should be used in cases where the results must be highly reliable, e. g., in estimating the technological effectiveness of actions on the formation and the bottom-hole region of the well.
