The influences of temperature and strain rate on the rolling textures of a 3xxx Al alloy are investigated by means of hot plane strain compression experiments. The tendency for stronger Brass and Cube components at high temperature is confirmed. The texture transition is adequately simulated by a strain rate sensitive model and the introduction of non-octahedral slip systems.
