摘要：

In the majority of road situations conventional bituminous materials give satisfactory performance. However, for certain special applications and sites where traffic is extremely heavy improved materials are required. Copolymers of Ethylene and Vinyl Acetate (EVA) offer an effective means of modifying the rheological properties of conventional penetration grade bitumens, thus enabling the production of high quality materials with in particular improved resistance to deformation and handling properties, for use on heavily trafficked roads and motorways and for difficult working conditions.
