PREDICTABILITY OF FLUID MECHANICAL FIELDS.

The problem of predictability can be examined in terms of topological dynamics including the theory of Lie's groups. We use as a basis the assumption that geodetics on an infinitely dimensional Lie group of diffeomorphisms in a fluid region can also define the flow of an ideal fluid in an adequate form. This fact makes it possible to re-formulate the problem in question as a problem of determining the curvature of this group.
