Lightning shielding of transmission line and lightning stroke simulation model

摘要：
The physical process of lightning stroke and the scatter of shielding failure on transmission line were studied. Some new knowledge about lightning shielding of transmission line and the simulation theory was proposed. A lightning stroke simulation model of transmission line, based on the discharge dispersity, was proposed. The model was applied to calculate the rate of shielding failure of 500 kV ZM1-39 transmission line in plain. The calculated results by the proposed model showed good agreements with the field experiences.
