摘要
Different factors affecting the character of the wear of SiC and Si3N4 base ceramic are analyzed. Adhesion, mechanochemical and diffusion interaction in the contact zone, wear under the action of fatigue and Thermal stresses, abrasive wear are defining factors. A conclusion is made on a high wear resistance of ceramics on the base of SiC and Si3N4. Nitride silicon poreless materials possessing high chemical stability, heat and crack resistance are promising to operate in the friction pairs ceramic-metal and for metal machining. Poreless materials on the base of silicon carbide are effective in friction pairs ceramic-ceramic and for operation under conditions of intensive action of hydro- and gas-abrasive media.
