Principal measures taken to improve 300 MW gas and fuel oil-fired units of the Karmanovo district power station are described. The economic effectiveness of these measures determined by tests carried out by the ORGRES (State Trust for the Organization and Rationalization of District Power Plants and Networks) is pointed out.
