摘要
After a review of the principal physicochemical properties of carboxymethylcellulose and its main applications, results are presented of laboratory DTA and simple and differential thermogravimetric analyses of specimens in oxidizing and neutral atmospheres. The best results were obtained with the use of aqueous solutions with 4% carboxymethylcellulose and oven baking at 180 degree C. However, a lower carboxymethylcellulose content (2 to 3%) insures better profitability.
