摘要：

The author proposes, from the point of view of the user, a specification of film granularity that might be somewhat different from that used by the emulsion manufacturer. The corresponding measuring procedures are outlined. After a discussion of comparative granularity measurements of color film materials for television, a qualitative assessment is also presented, and has been derived from the effects of the granular film structures on the impairment of television pictures.
