摘要
Aluminum alloys have been developed which can be formed in dies to obtain intricate shapes with smooth surfaces as easily as thermoplastic materials. In comparison to forming aluminum alloys in presses, this technique offers some advantages, among which the most important one is free formability. No expensive dies, such as in conventional air pressing, are necessary.
